Injuries reported for minors in Monterrey and Villa Nueva

Two separate incidents involving minors have been reported in Mexico and Guatemala.

In Monterrey, Mexico, a 10-year-old girl was injured after falling from a moving school bus in the Valle de Infonavit neighborhood. The accident occurred during a maneuver near a roundabout when the emergency door opened, causing the child to fall onto the pavement. Emergency responders from Civil Protection and the Mexican Red Cross treated the girl on-site for pain in her jaw, knee, and arm, as well as various abrasions.

In Villa Nueva, Guatemala, a 15-year-old boy sustained first and second-degree burns on his right arm after accidentally touching an electrical power line in the Villalobos 1 neighborhood. Municipal firefighters provided advanced pre-hospital care before transporting the teenager to Roosevelt Hospital for further medical attention.
