Injury updates for Moritz Broschinski and Jakob Bookjans

Karlsruher SC striker Moritz Broschinski is undergoing rehabilitation in Munich following surgery on a partial tear of his posterior syndesmosis ligament. Broschinski reported making progress through daily treatments and individualized training sessions. He remains dependent on crutches for approximately ten more days and expects to return to Karlsruhe in early December to continue training with the club's rehabilitation staff. His goal is to participate fully in the team's training camp in January.

In Duisburg, MSV Duisburg faces squad depth challenges following a cruciate ligament tear suffered by Jakob Bookjans. The 26-year-old's injury, which follows a previous broken lower leg, is expected to sideline him for several months. Sport director Chris Schmoldt indicated that the club is monitoring the transfer market for potential winter reinforcements, though any signings will depend on whether they make strategic sense for the squad.
