Injustice 3 leak suggests Batwoman and Supergirl join roster

Leaked information from a stunt worker's resume suggests that NetherRealm Studios is developing Injustice 3, the next installment in the DC fighting game franchise. The document, belonging to motion capture professional Mackensi Emory, indicates that both Supergirl and Batwoman are being worked into the playable roster.

While Supergirl was a central figure in Injustice 2, the inclusion of Batwoman would mark her debut as a playable character in the main series. This has sparked speculation regarding the game's narrative direction, as the character Kate Kane died in the canonical Injustice comic books. Observers suggest the new title could either introduce a different version of the character, ignore previous deaths, or serve as a franchise reboot similar to recent Mortal Kombat entries.

Additional details from the leak confirm the involvement of animator and stunt coordinator Jake Huang, who recently worked on Mortal Kombat 1. Although Warner Bros. Games has not officially announced the project, reports of playtests in California have further fueled rumors of an imminent reveal.
