inKind secures $414 million to expand restaurant commerce platform
inKind has secured $414 million in an oversubscribed second financing tranche, bringing the restaurant commerce platform’s total capital raised to over $1.2 billion. The financing round was led by Citi and Cross River, with additional mezzanine financing provided by Sagard, Varadero Capital, and Trinity Capital. This follows a previously announced $320 million commitment from Liberty Mutual Investments.
With this expanded facility, inKind intends to deploy more than $1 billion in growth capital to approximately 10,000 restaurants over the next year. The company’s platform integrates upfront capital, demand generation, financial tools, guest rewards, and AI-native capabilities.
Currently, inKind’s network connects more than 5 million diners with over 8,500 restaurants, representing nearly $30 billion in annual gross merchandise value. The company has grown its restaurant partner base from roughly 1,000 in 2022 to its current scale.
