InkLeaf introduces dual-panel e-ink tablet for reading and note-taking

Kameron Yu has developed InkLeaf, an e-ink tablet designed to mimic the experience of a physical book. The device features two 10.3-inch panels connected by a hinge that allows it to lie completely flat. This design enables users to view a source on one screen while taking notes on the other, avoiding the need to split a single screen as seen on devices like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra.

The tablet is Android-based and supports various file formats including PDF, EPUB, MOBI, TXT, and HTML. Hardware specifications include a quad-core Cortex A35 processor, 2 GB of memory, and 64 GB of storage. The manufacturer claims the battery life lasts for weeks on a single charge.

While the device competes with products like the Norwegian reMarkable Paper Pro, it offers a dual-panel layout rather than a single large screen. Initial reservations are expected to receive units in August, with general sales scheduled to begin in March 2027. Reported pricing suggests a suggested retail price of approximately $999, with pre-order options potentially available for $489.
