INN Grenzen II art exhibition to explore regional borders

The art exhibition ‘INN Grenzen II’ is scheduled to take place in Burghausen, Germany, from September 19 to October 31, 2026. As part of the INTERREG ‘verbINNdungen’ project, the exhibition explores the theme of borders within the historical Inn-Salzach region.

Organized by the artist group DIE BURG e. V., the event features artists with Austrian backgrounds alongside works from the ‘Radierwerkstatt’ artist association from Altötting. This selection aims to highlight artistic perspectives from both banks of the Inn River. The exhibition is designed to stimulate discussion regarding borders and mutual relationships, featuring a mid-run ‘remix’ of artistic impulses where works are revised or redesigned during the exhibition period.
