İnönü University holds White Coat Ceremony for medical students

İnönü University held its White Coat Ceremony for the 2026-2027 academic year at the Turgut Özal Congress and Culture Center. The event marked a significant milestone for medical students as they begin their journey into the medical profession.

During the ceremony, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Mehmet Aslan emphasized that the white coat represents more than just clothing, symbolizing the responsibility to protect human health and alleviate suffering. He noted that the profession carries both great honor and heavy responsibility. Aslan also addressed the families and academics, acknowledging their sacrifices and stating that faculty members are committed to guiding students to become both skilled physicians and ethical individuals.

Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Özer also spoke at the event, conveying congratulations and well wishes from Rector Prof. Dr. Nusret Akpolat.
