Innate Pharma activates Sobi partnership with $75 million payment

Innate Pharma has announced that its strategic partnership with Sobi is now effective following the expiration of antitrust waiting periods and the fulfillment of other closing conditions. The deal involves the licensing of lacutamab for the treatment of T-cell lymphoma.

The completion of the transaction triggers a $75 million upfront payment to Innate Pharma. It also marks the initiation of the TELLOMAK-3 confirmatory Phase 3 study in cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, with the first patient expected in the study during Q1 2027. This study aims to support applications for full approvals in Sézary syndrome and mycosis fungoides.

Under the terms of the agreement, Sobi will hold exclusive global commercialization rights for lacutamab upon potential accelerated approval and may assume full global development rights following positive Phase 3 results. Additionally, Innate Pharma reported a cash position of €21.4 million as of June 30, 2026, with an anticipated cash horizon extending until the end of Q1 2028.
