Innodisk launches GMSL2 camera starter kit for edge AI

Innodisk has announced the GMSL2 Camera Starter Kit, an all-in-one vision solution designed to accelerate the deployment of edge AI. The kit includes four 3MP GMSL2 camera modules, a capture card, FAKRA cables, and necessary accessories to facilitate rapid multi-camera system setup.

By providing pre-integrated hardware and software drivers, the kit aims to reduce the time required for system integration and validation, which can often exceed six months. The solution includes camera source code compatible with the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit, allowing developers to bypass complex debugging and tuning processes.

The kit is intended for use in various edge AI scenarios, including blind-spot detection for heavy vehicles, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and object recognition for humanoid robots and autonomous mobile robots (AMR).
