XPeng reports Q2 2026 revenue growth amid rising net losses
XPeng Inc. has released its unaudited financial results for the second quarter of 2026, reporting total revenues of RMB 19.74 billion. This represents an 8.0% increase year-over-year and a 51.5% increase compared to the first quarter of 2026.
Despite the revenue growth, the company reported a net loss of RMB 1.34 billion, which is a significant increase from the RMB 480 million loss reported in the same period last year. The gross margin for the quarter rose to 20.7%, up from 17.3% a year ago, while the vehicle margin stood at 12.1%.
Operational highlights include the delivery of 103,295 vehicles during the second quarter. The company also noted that overseas markets contributed more than 25% of its first-half revenue, with overseas deliveries increasing 81% year-on-year. Additionally, XPeng's robotics subsidiary, Dogotix, secured over US$900 million in a single funding round. For the third quarter, XPeng expects vehicle deliveries to be between 115,000 and 121,000 units.
