Innovad Group to become majority shareholder of Olea Fortius

Innovad Group, a global leader in animal nutrition and health, has announced a joint venture with Larissa-based Olea Fortius. Under the agreement, which takes effect on September 30, 2026, Innovad will become the majority shareholder of Olea Fortius.

Olea Fortius specializes in developing natural animal nutrition ingredients derived from olive production by-products. The partnership includes FoodOxys, a spin-off from the University of Thessaly, which will continue to participate actively in the company's development. This collaboration provides Innovad with direct access to Mediterranean herbs and enhances its ability to develop scientifically proven phytogenic solutions.

The two companies have been working together since 2023, during which Olea Fortius has supplied Innovad with olive pomace high in phenolic compounds. This research has already led to the development of Novinox Nat Olea, a natural olive-based antioxidant. The partnership is currently supporting the development of Korevion, an olive-based solution scheduled to be presented at the EuroTier 2026 exhibition in Hannover.
