Innovation and sustainability initiatives advance in Mato Grosso
In Mato Grosso, Brazil, regional institutions are advancing science, technology, and sustainable entrepreneurship. Senai MT has qualified 27 projects for the state stage of the XVIII State Exhibition of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MECTI 2026). This represents the institution's best performance to date, with its projects accounting for 33.8% of the total classified works. The projects, distributed across nine units including Juína, Barra do Bugres, and Rondonópolis, cover fields such as agriculture, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
Additionally, Sebrae Mato Grosso participated in TEDx Cuiabá 2026, focusing on the role of small businesses in sustainable development. Through its Sustainability Center, Sebrae promoted innovations that connect environmental responsibility with economic growth, aiming to make sustainable solutions more accessible to the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.
