Innovation and technology initiatives announced in Matosinhos and Anadia

Various regional initiatives in Portugal are focusing on the integration of technology, innovation, and sustainability. In Matosinhos, the MOVES-IT project is hosting a community event at the Antiga Fábrica Vasco da Gama to present solutions related to technology and sustainability. The program includes a session titled “From Data to Action,” led by the University of Aveiro, which explores how data can be utilized to create community-focused solutions. The event also features activities regarding environmental sensors and green roofs.

In Anadia, the 5th edition of the “Autumn Conferences” is scheduled for October 23 at the Museu do Vinho da Bairrada. The theme, “Smart Administration: AI, Technology and Efficiency in Organizational Transformation,” will examine the impact of artificial intelligence and digital tools on modernizing public administration. The event aims to discuss how these technologies can improve efficiency, transform organizational models, and enhance citizen services, while also addressing challenges such as data protection, privacy, and information security.
