Innovation events highlight entrepreneurship in Bolivia and El Salvador

The IV LATAM Innovation Weekend 2026 in Bolivia focused on transitioning from conceptual ideas to scalable business solutions. Following a selection process from 79 regional applications, 16 ventures were preselected, leading to 10 finalists presenting during a Demo Day. Notable recognized projects included Sommos, Óptimo Bolivia, Pling, Vokay, and Forwardery, with KUVAST receiving a special mention. The startup Pling earned a direct pass to present before Venture Club LATAM at the Escalatón Summit 2026 in Panama City.

In El Salvador, the ninth edition of Espaciotec concluded during the Día Tec event hosted by Banco Davivienda. Ten Salvadoran startups reached the final stage, divided into two categories: Idea and Business. The Idea category finalists included LOROCOGAMES, EIR, MisionKid, ZassPass, and Alfa Geomatics, while the Business category featured NextTrack, ICI El Salvador, Experiences El Salvador, HOGARE, and SAVVIO. The program provided participants with mentorship, validation, and specialized training to connect local talent with regional investment and expertise.
