Innovation initiatives launch in Yucatán and Puerto Varas

In Mexico, the Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology and Innovation (Secihti) has signed a collaboration agreement with the Área 71 Innovation Club and Canieti Sureste. The partnership aims to connect academic knowledge and human talent with the needs of the productive sector in Yucatán. This initiative will facilitate upcoming events such as the Púrpura Summit, the Possible Future Award, and Anadic Tech Day to strengthen the state's technological ecosystem.

In Chile, construction has begun on StartupLab Patagonia in Puerto Varas. This project seeks to establish the region as a biotechnology hub with international reach. Supported by Corfo, the initiative provides scientific-technological startups with access to specialized laboratories, infrastructure, and acceleration programs to help scale solutions from regional origins to global markets.
