Innsbruck hosts youth health project conference

Approximately 550 young people aged 12 to 20 presented 24 health-related projects at the Tyrolean Youth Health Conference held at the Landhaus in Innsbruck. These initiatives aim to strengthen health literacy among youth through diverse approaches, including a cookbook of international healthy recipes, first-aid workshops, and a dedicated meeting point for deaf and hard-of-hearing youth known as the Youth Hub.

The conference series, organized by the umbrella organization for open youth work, POJAT, is scheduled to continue across all Tyrolean districts through 2028. Projects receive financial support of up to 500 euros along with coaching and workshops. The event also marked the introduction of the “Jugendgesundheit Tirol” network, which connects health experts with youth workers to support various mental and physical health services.
