INNSiDE by Meliá Yogyakarta begins new ballroom construction

INNSiDE by Meliá Yogyakarta has officially commenced the construction of a new ballroom, marked by a groundbreaking ceremony held on Thursday, August 27. The project is a strategic move to increase the hotel's capacity and provide more diverse venue options for meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions (MICE), social gatherings, and various celebrations in Yogyakarta.

The ceremony was attended by management and key stakeholders, including Bogat Agus Riyono, President Director of PT Saraswanti Indoland Development Tbk, and Adhi Harsanto, Director of Saraswanti Utama. The event included traditional rituals such as communal prayer, tumpeng cutting, and the breaking of a clay jar (pecah kendi) to symbolize the start of the project.

Bogat Agus Riyono stated that the ballroom construction is a significant step in the hotel's journey, noting a large opportunity to grow as a lifestyle and MICE venue in the region. The new facility is intended to feature a contemporary and vibrant lifestyle concept, complementing the hotel's existing MICE infrastructure.
