S10 expressway contractors selected for Wyrzysk-Bydgoszcz route

Poland is undergoing various regional infrastructure developments, ranging from local recreational zones to major expressway projects. In the north, GDDKiA has selected contractors for nearly 40 kilometers of the S10 expressway between Wyrzysk and Bydgoszcz. The total value of the contracts exceeds 1.2 billion PLN, with the Wyrzysk-Nakło nad Notecią section awarded to a Spanish-Polish consortium and the Nakło-Bydgoszcz section awarded to PORR.

In the Płock region, officials have set a 2030 target for the completion of the S10 expressway. Meanwhile, in Łódź, construction is underway on Sowińskiego Street to improve traffic flow and connectivity. Other local projects include a new recreational zone in Inowrocław, a sports field in Chojnice, and a modern nursery-kindergarten facility in Gliwice.

Educational and social infrastructure is also seeing investment, such as the expansion of a primary school in Niepołomice and the construction of a new municipal nursery in Bronisławowie. Additionally, Biłgoraj is investing 10 million PLN in ecological modernizations for local sports and school facilities.
