Inoxtag and Mike Horn launch scientific expedition in Patagonia
French YouTuber Inoxtag and explorer Mike Horn have launched a three-week expedition in Tierra del Fuego, Patagonia. Following Inoxtag’s recent ascent of Mount Everest, this new venture moves into a polar glacial environment.
The mission combines physical endurance with scientific objectives. The duo aims to collect water from deep within a glacier to support scientific research and intends to install a camera at the glacier's summit, which is designed to remain in place for two years. This project aligns with Mike Horn’s ‘What’s Left’ program, which seeks to observe environmental changes and raise awareness about the effects of climate change.
The expedition is being conducted using Horn’s sailing vessel, Pangaea, which serves as a base for both maritime and mountain activities.
