Inpasa receives R$ 6.28 million in tax incentives for plant expansion

The Nova Mutum City Council has unanimously approved a tax incentive package for Inpasa to support the expansion of its industrial plant in the municipality. The approved incentives, totaling approximately R$ 6.28 million, are specifically aimed at tax exemptions related to the construction of new structures.

In exchange for these benefits, the company is expected to undertake investments estimated between R$ 816 million and R$ 817 million. This expansion represents the third phase of the plant's growth. Inpasa currently accounts for roughly 25% of Nova Mutum's GDP and a significant portion of its municipal tax revenue.

Local officials anticipate that once the plant reaches full capacity, the expansion will lead to an increase in municipal revenue and tax collection of approximately 10%. The legislative body emphasized that the decision aims to foster economic growth, job creation, and long-term regional development.
