InPost reaches 14,000 delivery points in the Iberian Peninsula
InPost has reached a milestone of 14,000 out-of-home (OOH) delivery points across the Iberian Peninsula, comprising both automated lockers and Pack Points. This expansion in Portugal and Spain aims to increase network capillarity and meet rising consumer demand for flexible delivery solutions.
The infrastructure reinforcement comes during the current e-commerce peak season, ahead of major commercial events such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Christmas. Marc Vicente, CEO of InPost Iberia, stated that reaching this milestone reflects the company’s efforts to build a wider and more prepared network to support e-commerce growth.
Company data indicates high efficiency in the network: 70.3% of parcels delivered to lockers or Pack Points are collected within the first 24 hours, with a median collection time of 6.9 hours. Most collections occur between 15:00 and 17:00. While Monday saw the most collections in the last month, Wednesday has consistently been the busiest day over the past three years.
