INPS criticized for four-year delay in pension documentation
A retired police commissioner has publicly criticized the INPS for significant administrative delays regarding the quantification of his end-of-service allowance (TFS). The former official requested documentation in 2022 to secure a bank advance for a home purchase, but the request was only addressed recently.
The response from INPS stated that the request was rejected because the TFS had already been fully paid out, rendering the four-year-old inquiry moot. The individual reported that despite multiple solicitations to both national and local INPS offices, the lack of timely certification forced him to seek alternative financial solutions for his housing needs.
