Inps Network of Quality Agricultural Labor doubles in membership
The number of companies registered in the Network of Quality Agricultural Labor has more than doubled in two years, growing from approximately 6,000 to 13,000 members. Managed by Inps, this voluntary network identifies agricultural enterprises that comply with labor laws, social legislation, and tax and contribution obligations.
Fabio Vitale, a member of the Inps board of directors, noted that the network was strengthened by the 2016 law against 'caporalato' (illegal labor intermediation). He described the registration as a ‘mark of reliability’ that allows companies to demonstrate their commitment to legality and workers' rights to consumers and supply chain partners. Vitale emphasized that legality and competitiveness are not in contradiction, suggesting that improved working conditions serve as a qualifying element for the agricultural system.
