Inrete Distribuzione Energia begins new substation project in Savignano sul Panaro

Inrete Distribuzione Energia, a company within the Hera Group, has commenced construction on a new primary electrical substation in Savignano sul Panaro. The project represents an investment of approximately 9.4 million euros.

The new infrastructure is designed to support the energy transition and development of the Modena foothills area, specifically serving the municipalities of Savignano, Vignola, and Spilamberto. The substation will function as a transformation station from 132 kV to 15 kV, strengthening the connection between the local distribution network and the national transmission grid.

Key objectives of the project include increasing power availability for households and businesses, improving service continuity, and facilitating the integration of renewable energy sources to support local decarbonization efforts.
