Inés Gómez Mont puts Mexico City mansion up for sale
Television presenter Inés Gómez Mont has placed her luxury residence in the Rancho San Francisco neighborhood of Mexico City on the market for an estimated 60 million pesos. The sale is reportedly being conducted through a third party due to active arrest warrants issued by the Attorney General's Office (FGR) against Gómez Mont and her husband, attorney Víctor Manuel Álvarez Puga.
The decision to sell follows at least two searches conducted by federal authorities at the property, located in the San Bartolo Ameyalco area of the Álvaro Obregón borough. The estate spans approximately 3,000 square meters of land with 1,000 square meters of construction, featuring marble finishes, four bedrooms, a game room, a subterranean cellar, and various luxury amenities.
This financial move follows the recent cancellation of an Interpol red notice that had been active for five years against the couple. While the defense successfully argued that the notice constituted political persecution, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum stated that the federal government intends to challenge Interpol's decision to reinstate the international search alerts.
