Insai to digitize agricultural procedures and integrate with Seniat and Saren

The National Institute of Integral Agricultural Health (Insai) is implementing a digitalization process to simplify administrative procedures for producers. According to the Minister for Productive Agriculture and Lands, Vladímir Padrino López, the new system will allow for the electronic review of label drafts, eliminating the need for in-person document delivery and reducing travel times.

Under the new system, users will receive status notifications via email and can manage multiple requests through a single registration, preventing the repetitive uploading of documentation. Furthermore, Insai will interconnect with the National Integrated Service of Customs and Tax Administration (Seniat) and the Autonomous Service of Registries and Notaries (Saren) to facilitate transactions.

Additional measures include the launch of a new National Integral Health Registry in September and the flexibilization of the Free Sale Certificate (CLV). The ministry is also reviewing inspection procedures for farms and estates to modernize the institution and act as a facilitator for economic rights.
