Insejupy conducts real estate professionalization training in Yucatán
The Instituto de Seguridad Jurídica Patrimonial de Yucatán (Insejupy) organized the fifth training and certification session for real estate professionals at the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán (UADY). Approximately 400 sector professionals participated in the 10-hour program, which included both in-person and virtual sessions.
The training aims to professionalize real estate agents seeking a Type “A” License, ensuring they provide responsible and reliable services. Key topics included legal requirements for property transactions, tax obligations, and the prevention of money laundering, as real estate intermediation is classified as a vulnerable activity.
Experts, including Notary Publics Mario Enrique Guzmán Vega and Claudia Ivonne Ceballos Pantoja, shared insights on legal security in patrimonial operations. Insejupy Director General Dalia Isela Piña Alberto emphasized that professionalization is vital because property purchases often represent a significant portion of a family's wealth.
