Insidious: Out of the Further trailer reveals new horror direction

Sony Pictures released the final trailer for the sixth Insidious film, titled Insidious: Out of the Further (Insidious: Fuori dall'Altrove). The preview introduces a new protagonist, Gemma, a young mother played by Amelia Eve, who discovers she can not only enter the supernatural realm known as the Further but also bring its malevolent entities into the real world. Lin Shaye returns as Elise Rainier to mentor Gemma. The film is written and directed by Jacob Chase and produced by Jason Blum, James Wan, Oren Peli and Leigh Whannell. The franchise, which has earned over $740 million globally, is slated for release in late August 2026 (August 19 in Italy, August 21 internationally). Alongside the trailer, Sony announced official merchandise, including a Red‑Face Demon popcorn bucket for U.S. theatres. The marketing push spans multiple markets, with articles appearing in Italy, Germany, France, the United States and India.
