Insidious horror franchise returns with new installment

The horror franchise Insidious is returning with a new installment titled ‘Insidious: Sú medzi nami’. Directed by Jacob Chase, the film introduces a shift in the series' established rules, allowing demonic entities to cross from the dark realm known as ‘The Further’ into the human world permanently.

The story follows a single mother named Gemma, played by Amelia Eve, who returns to her childhood home. As she explores her ability to enter The Further, she discovers that objects and beings can now be brought back to our world. The production emphasizes practical effects, masks, and real locations over extensive green screen use. The film is scheduled for release in cinemas on August 20, 2026.
