INSIGHT Foto Festival highlights emerging artists in Varese

The INSIGHT Foto Festival, a contemporary photography event held in Varese, is preparing for its upcoming iterations. The festival focuses on supporting emerging artists through horizontal curatorial processes, allowing them to create site-specific installations across various institutional and urban spaces.

The current theme, ‘ABITO’, explores the concept of both clothing as a marker of identity and the act of inhabiting spaces and social relations. As part of this context, photographer Federica Duma discusses her 2024 project, ‘Metamorphoses’, which utilizes multimedia to examine the female body's transformation from adolescence to young adulthood, touching on themes of vulnerability and the connection between the body and nature.
