Insmed raises revenue guidance as BRINSUPRI sales jump 49%

Biotech company Insmed reported strong second-quarter results driven by the rapid commercial adoption of its bronchiectasis treatment, BRINSUPRI. Total revenue for the quarter rose to $425.5 million, compared to $107.4 million in the previous year. BRINSUPRI revenue specifically grew 49% sequentially to reach $309.2 million.

In response to this growth, Insmed raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance for BRINSUPRI to a range of $1.25 billion to $1.4 billion. The company also increased its long-term peak sales estimate for the drug to over $7 billion. Combined with projections for TPIP and ARIKAYCE, Insmed estimates its three lead programs could generate more than $14 billion in combined peak revenue.

The company's quarterly net loss narrowed significantly to $13.2 million ($0.06 per share), down from $321.7 million ($1.70 per share) a year earlier. Insmed ended June with approximately $1.2 billion in cash and marketable securities. Looking ahead, the company is preparing for potential international expansion, including a regulatory decision in Japan expected in the second half of 2026.
