Insomniac Games continues development on Marvel's Venom

Insomniac Games is reportedly continuing development on a Marvel's Venom spin-off for PlayStation 5, despite previous rumors suggesting the project had been canceled. Industry insider NateTheHate2 stated that the game is “very much still in development,” though the timing for an official announcement remains unknown.

Speculation regarding the game's cancellation surfaced earlier this year, with some reports linking a potential halt to the passing of Tony Todd, the voice actor for the character in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. However, journalist Jason Schreier and other industry sources have previously denied these claims, asserting that work on the project has not stopped.

The existence of the title was first revealed through a major data leak at Insomniac in late 2023. The leaked internal roadmap suggested a smaller-scale spin-off similar in scope to Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
