Marvel's Wolverine video game launch set for Sept 15 on PS5

At San Diego Comic-Con 2026, Insomniac Games and PlayStation Studios announced Marvel's Wolverine, a PlayStation 5‑exclusive action game scheduled for release on 15 September 2026. The event featured a story trailer that opens with an enraged Logan (voiced by Liam McIntyre) confronting Jean Grey, and introduced new antagonists including the criminal organization The Hand and the villain Deathstrike. Developers present included creative director Marcus Smith, game director Mike Daly, senior project director Jess‑Reiner‑Reed, narrative director Walt Williams, and Marvel Games executive producer Eric Monacelli. A partnership with Arc System Works will add a Wolverine costume from MARVEL Tōkon, unlockable from day one. Composer David Fleming provided the soundtrack, with the first track “Logan” already released. The game's narrative focuses on mutant survival, pitting Logan and Team X against Trask’s plans and The Hand’s threat.
