Inspé Académie de Nantes hosts teacher training initiatives
The Inspé Académie de Nantes is conducting various educational initiatives for the Licence Professorat des Écoles (LPE) program at its Laval and Le Mans sites.
In Laval, first-year LPE students participated in a pedagogical visit to the Musée vivant de l’École publique. The excursion focused on the history of the French school system during the 19th and 20th centuries, including the evolution of mandatory, free, and co-educational schooling. Students also engaged with the Ligue des droits de l’Homme regarding their ‘Écrits pour la fraternité’ initiative and practiced historical writing techniques using quill pens.
Additionally, through the Couralafac operation, the Laval and Le Mans sites are opening their doors to high school students. These immersion days allow prospective students to attend lectures, meet current undergraduates, and better understand the realities of training to become primary school teachers.
