Inspiral Carpets announce 2027 Australia and New Zealand tour

The Manchester band Inspiral Carpets has announced ‘The Singles’ tour, scheduled to visit Australia and New Zealand in April and May 2027. The tour includes dates in Perth, Fremantle, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Wellington.

In a recent interview regarding his new memoir, ‘The Manchester Chronicles’, keyboard player Clint Boon shared anecdotes from the band’s history. He recalled the era when the band auditioned a young Noel Gallagher, who initially served as a roadie for the group before finding fame with Oasis. Boon described his career as being akin to ‘Forrest Gump’ due to his proximity to various major figures in the Manchester music scene.
