INSS appoints 108 new analysts and issues fraud warning

The National Social Security Institute (INSS) has announced the appointment of 108 candidates following the Unified National Public Exam (CPNU) 2. These new Social Security Analysts will be distributed across various regions of Brazil and the agency's central administration.

The distribution includes 100 appointments for regional agencies: 32 in the North/Central-West region, 21 in the Northeast, 15 in the South, 14 in São Paulo, 11 in Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo, and 7 in Rio de Janeiro. The roles are divided between Physiotherapy and Social Work. An additional 8 appointments were made to fill remaining vacancies.

Separately, the INSS has issued a warning regarding a fraudulent scheme targeting retirees and pensioners. Scammers are using fake messages and threats of benefit suspension to trick individuals into providing personal data, such as CPF numbers, bank details, and passwords. The agency emphasizes that life proof (prova de vida) is now largely performed automatically, and citizens should not click on suspicious links or provide information via text messages claiming urgent registration updates.
