INSS begins October benefit payments and judicial settlement distributions

The Brazilian Social Security Institute (INSS) has commenced the payment schedule for October benefits. Beneficiaries receiving up to one minimum wage will see deposits between October 26 and November 9, determined by the final digit of their benefit card. Those receiving amounts above the minimum wage are scheduled to receive payments between November 3 and November 9.

Separately, the Federal Regional Court of the 4th Region (TRF4) announced that judicial settlements, known as Small Value Requisitions (RPVs), received in September will be available for withdrawal starting November 4. In the state of Paraná, this batch totals R$ 220.3 million for 23,240 beneficiaries. Nationally, R$ 2.93 billion has been allocated for social security and assistance processes, covering over 193,000 people.

Beneficiaries are advised to check their specific payment dates and status via the ‘Meu INSS’ app, the TRF4 portal, or by contacting their legal representatives. Payments are typically processed through Caixa Econômica Federal or Banco do Brasil.
