INSS fraud suspects filmed discussing asset protection

Security camera footage obtained by Estadão reveals that suspects involved in the ‘Farra do INSS’ fraud scheme discussed methods to protect their assets and resume business operations one month after Federal Police searches. The recordings, made on May 22, 2025, in a luxury home in Alphaville, show conversations between Anderson Cordeiro Vasconcelos and Igor Dias Delecrode.

In the videos, Delecrode expresses frustration over judicial freezes on bank accounts and suggests converting funds into ‘digital dollars’—a term linked to dollar-pegged cryptocurrencies—to evade authorities. The discussions also included efforts to preserve real estate holdings.

The investigation, known as ‘Operação Sem Desconto’, targets a group of businessmen referred to as the ‘golden boys’ who allegedly diverted R$ 6.2 billion from the payrolls of millions of retirees through fraudulent association fees. This specific group of four businessmen reportedly controlled entities that generated over R$ 700 million in improper discounts. During previous police actions, authorities seized 29 vehicles valued at R$ 28 million belonging to this group. The defense for the investigated individuals has stated they are unaware of the existence or authenticity of the videos.
