Insta360 and Tencent Meeting launch AI-powered Mic Pro microphone

Insta360 and Tencent Meeting have announced the launch of the Mic Pro, an AI-powered clip-on recording microphone designed to integrate hardware audio capture with advanced AI capabilities. The device features a customizable e-ink screen that can function as a personalized digital name card or signature.

Technologically, the Mic Pro is deeply integrated with Tencent Meeting’s AI ecosystem. It supports one-touch recording, automatic transcription, and intelligent speaker identification. The device can utilize large language models to generate meeting summaries, identify key decisions, and list action items. Users can also interact with AI agents like Yuanbao to ask follow-up questions about meeting details in real time.

The hardware includes a three-microphone array capable of stable audio pickup within a five-meter range. It offers up to 9.5 hours of continuous recording on a single charge, with a quick-charge feature providing 1.5 hours of use from five minutes of charging. The device also includes 32GB of internal storage, sufficient for over 1,600 hours of audio, and supports multi-language transcription and translation across 26 languages.
