Insta360 launches Luna Pro gimbal camera with Leica optics

Insta360 has launched the Luna Pro, a stabilized handheld camera featuring a 1-inch Leica Summicron f/1.8 lens and a Sony image sensor. The device is designed with a specialized vertical shooting mode that allows for 4K resolution in a 9:16 orientation, while standard video can reach up to 8K resolution.

The camera utilizes a three-axis hardware stabilization system and AI algorithms for automated object tracking. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and an AI imaging chip. Additional technical specifications include a 14-stop dynamic range, 4x zoom capability, and three Leica color presets: Chrome, Natural, and Vivid.

Hardware features include a 1,550 mAh internal battery capable of fast charging to 80 percent in 23 minutes, 47 GB of internal storage, and a detachable 2-inch OLED touchscreen remote that operates up to 20 meters away. The Luna Pro is available in black and white and is priced at 3,399 yuan in the Chinese market.
