Insta360 reports organized smear campaigns and competitor misconduct

Insta360's legal department has announced that the company is facing renewed organized attacks from malicious online groups spreading false information across multiple platforms. The company stated it has secured evidence and will pursue legal action against those involved.

In a related investigation, Insta360 revealed that an executive from a competing company in the same industry was previously placed under administrative detention. This executive had allegedly hired criminal groups to post fake negative reviews on Amazon to damage Insta360's reputation. Specifically, the group used international students to claim that a product designed only for plug-in use had battery life issues.

As a result of the investigation, three suspects from the criminal group were criminally detained. Insta360 has implemented a whistleblower reward mechanism to encourage reports of such activities, having already issued several rewards of 10,000 yuan to individuals providing verified information.
