Insta360 launches X6 flagship 360 camera with 8K video

Insta360 has launched its flagship X6 360-degree action camera, featuring significant hardware upgrades including dual 1/1.1-inch Sony sensors. These sensors provide approximately four times the light intake compared to the previous X5 model, enhancing low-light performance.

The X6 supports 8K video recording at up to 50fps and includes native Dolby Vision support with 10-bit color. The device is designed as a versatile tool that can function as a 360 camera, a standard action camera, or a gimbal-style tracking camera. It also features AI-powered editing tools to simplify the post-production process.

Global availability has begun, with the camera priced at approximately $699.99 in the United States. In the UAE, bundles are priced between AED 2,699 and AED 3,099. The device is water-resistant up to 20 meters and includes specialized features for motorcyclists, such as dashcam modes and wind-noise reduction.
