Insta360 X6 camera appears in Romanian store ahead of official launch

The buyer posted photos of the sealed box and accessories, noting that the camera could not be activated because the Insta360 app did not yet recognize the model. The packaging matches leaks that surfaced in late July, confirming that production units have reached retailers.

An unboxing report from the United Kingdom detailed the same early‑release box, confirming key specifications: 8K 360° video recording, up to 140 minutes of battery life, Replaceable Lenses 2.0, PureVideo low‑light mode, and waterproof rating to 20 m. Included accessories are a 114 cm invisible selfie stick, protective pouch, USB‑C cable and silicone lens cap. The leak suggests the official launch is imminent, likely within the month.

The incident highlights a premature distribution of the camera to retailers, a rare occurrence that may pressure Insta360 to accelerate the software rollout for the X6.
