InstaVolt extends partnership with Zapmap for EV charging payments

Electric vehicle charging network InstaVolt has extended its partnership with Zapmap, allowing over one million Zapmap users to pay for charging across the InstaVolt network. Drivers can now use the Zapmap app or a charging card to access more than 2,500 rapid and ultra-rapid chargers located at approximately 900 sites.

InstaVolt chargers are primarily situated at retail and food locations, such as McDonald’s, Costa Coffee, and Booths, as well as along strategic road networks and motorway service areas. The company noted that EV drivers in the UK are currently never more than 30 miles from one of its charging points.

In addition to payment capabilities, the partnership allows Zapmap users to view live availability, pricing, and community feedback for InstaVolt stations. This integration joins InstaVolt with over 80,000 other chargers across 50 networks that already accept Zapmap payments.
