Institut Valencià de Cultura allocates 2.69 million euros to music sector

The Institut Valencià de Cultura (IVC) has granted 2.69 million euros in aid to the Valencian musical sector to promote musical activities during 2026. This represents a 34.5% increase compared to the previous call for applications.

Of the total amount, 2.32 million euros are allocated from the IVC 2026 budget. The remaining 370,000 euros are designated for the biennial modality of organizing and maintaining administrative structures and are attributed to the 2027 budget, subject to the availability of sufficient credit. This support aims to foster stability and professionalization by allowing cultural organizations to improve planning and project continuity.

The subsidies target various areas, including festivals, music venues, show production, composition, record production, tours, and professional structures. The resolution, published in the Diari Oficial de la Generalitat Valenciana, follows a process that received 526 applications from individuals and legal entities.
