Institute of Chartered Accountants of India publishes 77th annual report and invites auditors

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released its 77th Annual Report and Accounts for the financial year 2025‑26. The report, published in the Gazette of India and hosted on the ICAI website, details the Institute’s activities, financial performance, governance initiatives and key developments up to 31 March 2026.

In a separate notice dated 1 August 2026, ICAI invited Expressions of Interest from eligible chartered‑accountant firms to serve as internal auditors for its Head Office, Regional Councils, Decentralized Offices and Branches for the financial year 2026‑27. The invitation outlines eligibility criteria, required partner qualifications, audit experience, submission deadline of 15 August 2026 and a point‑based selection system.
