Institutional investors adjust BlackRock holdings in Q1 2024

Strs Ohio reduced its stake in BlackRock (NYSE:BLK) by 2,015 shares in the first quarter, a 4.7% decline that left the firm with 41,057 shares valued at about $39.5 million, according to its latest SEC Form 13F filing.

Bogart Wealth LLC increased its BlackRock position by 1,635 shares, a 23.1% gain that raised its holding to 8,718 shares worth roughly $8.4 million, also reported in a recent SEC filing.

The filings illustrate ongoing rebalancing by U.S. institutional investors in BlackRock shares, with other large holders such as Vanguard, State Street and Bank of America also reporting modest adjustments during recent quarters.
