Institutional investors adjust holdings in Crown Castle and Costco

Recent SEC filings reveal shifts in institutional holdings for Crown Castle Inc. and Costco Wholesale Corporation.

Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Group Inc. reduced its position in Crown Castle Inc. by 3.1% during the second quarter, selling 25,505 shares. Following this sale, the group holds 804,222 shares, valued at approximately $60.9 million. Other institutional investors, including United Asset Strategies Inc. and Binnacle Investments Inc., have recently increased their stakes in the real estate investment trust.

In a separate filing, TD Waterhouse Canada Inc. decreased its stake in Costco Wholesale Corporation by 1.2% in the second quarter. The firm sold 3,959 shares, leaving it with 333,022 shares valued at roughly $308 million. Meanwhile, other major entities such as Norges Bank and Amundi have reported significant movements in their Costco holdings.
