Institutional investors adjust stakes in Goldman Sachs and Corning in Q4 filings
First American Trust FSB reduced its holding in The Goldman Sachs Group by 22.2% during the fourth quarter, selling 2,540 shares and ending the period with 8,904 shares valued at about $7.8 million. The filing also noted activity by other large investors, including Vanguard, Fisher Asset Management, Geode Capital Management, Invesco and Norges Bank, which together own a majority of Goldman’s stock.
Motley Fool Asset Management LLC increased its position in Corning Incorporated by 35.3% in the same quarter, adding 20,888 shares to own 80,022 shares worth roughly $7 million. Other investors such as Merit Financial Group, Lansforsakringar Fondforvaltning, Security National Bank and Natixis Advisors also adjusted their Corning holdings, collectively accounting for nearly 70% of the company’s shares.
