Institutional investors boost holdings in Home Depot and D.R. Horton
Sarasin & Partners LLP increased its stake in Home Depot Inc. by 4.0% during the second quarter, bringing its holding to 687,219 shares, worth about $242.4 million and representing roughly 2.8% of the fund’s portfolio. The hedge fund now owns about 0.07% of Home Depot’s outstanding shares. Other large investors also added to their positions: Vanguard Group, State Street Corp, Geode Capital Management, Bank of America Corp DE and Charles Schwab Investment Management each raised their holdings, collectively contributing to institutional ownership of 70.86% of Home Depot’s stock.
Segall Bryant & Hamill LLC purchased a new stake in D.R. Horton Inc. in the first quarter, acquiring 9,179 shares valued at roughly $1.31 million. Additional investors such as Integrated Wealth Concepts, Geneos Wealth Management, Sivia Capital Partners, Brown Advisory and Cerity Partners also increased their positions, pushing institutional ownership of D.R. Horton to 90.63% of the company’s shares.
